Bbq Chicken Wings

• 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
• 1 cup oyster sauce
• 1/4 cup soy sauce
• 1/4 cup ketchup
• 2 tablespoons garlic powder
• 1/4 cup Jack Daniels
• 2 dashes liquid smoke flavoring
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 1 1/2 pounds chicken wings, separated at joints, tips discarded
• 1/4 cup honey

1. In a large bowl, mix the teriyaki sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic powder, gin, liquid smoke, and sugar. Place the chicken wings in the bowl, cover, and marinate in the refrigerator 8 hours or overnight.

2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

3. Arrange chicken on a cookie sheet, and discard the marinade. Bake the chicken wings on one side for 30 minutes, then turn and brush with honey. Continue baking 30 minutes, or until juices run clear.

CHINESE CHICKEN WINGS

60 chicken wings

    1cup. melted butter
    3/4 cup. brown sugar
    1 cup. soy sauce
    1 cup. water
    2 tsp. dry mustard
    2 tsp. crushed red pepper
    1/2 tsp. Chinese spice powder

Combinde all the ingredients to create the sauce and Marinate chicken wings for 8 to 10 hours.
Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or till done.

So what is it that makes a good recipe for Mashed Potatoes
I typically like my mashed potatoes without lumps with a buttery taste and sour cream.

HOW YOU COOK THE POTATOES
Moisture content of the cooked potato will determine how dense your final dish is. More moisture means denser mashed potato. So if you want a fluffier dish then you need to remove as much water content as you can. So you have two options boil or bake.
If you boil your potatoes then when they are done, you must drain them immediately! Put them back into the hot pot on the stove with the heat on low. This will remove any excess water that is left and increase your flavor.
If you bake your potatoes then you are ahead of the game.

NOT ALL POTATOES ARE CREATED EQUAL
Potatoes consist of two basic elements, Starch and Water. It is typically accepted that lower starch potatoes are better for mashed potatoes. This is because they don’t hold as much water and have more flavor.
If you like a creamer mashed potato then use a high starch potatoes like Yukon Gold or russet because the more starch results in a fluffier texture and they tend to be creamier.

If you are looking for fluffy, airy potatoes, try an electric mixer. Often used in restaurants to stretch how far a potato can go, the mixer whips air into the potato giving them more volume and staying power.

This is by far one of the best baked bean recipes I have ever tasted, and is the only one that we make in my house hold. We have tried to modify it from the original by using some fancier caned baked beans and it is not he same as just using the plain old cambles Pork and Beans in Tomato sauce. Take this to a party and your sure to be invited back.

Celebration Bean Bake

    2 Cans (1lbs each or 4 cups) of Pork and beans in tomato sauce.
    ¾ cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1 ½ teaspoons of dry mustard
    1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    6 slices bacon chopped
    ¼ teaspoon salt
    ½ cup catsup
    ¼ teaspoon pepper

Directions:

Empty 1 can of beans into a 1 ½ quart casserole dish.
Combine the brown sugar, dry mustard, salt and pepper in a cup and sprickle have over the beans in the casserole dish.
Add the remaining beans to the dish and sprinkle the rest of the dry mix over the top.
Put the bacon and catsup over the top and bake at 325 degs for 2 /12 hours.

This is in my humble opinion the best baked bean recipe ever, and its simple.

Baked Chicken Wings

Make chicken wings at your next party and be the talk of your friends. This is one of the best chicken wings recipes that i have found. Being baked you cut the calories way down.

• 3 pounds chicken wings
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1/2 cup all-purpose flour for coating
• 3/4 cup oil for frying
• 1/4 cup margarine
• SAUCE
• 6 tablespoons soy sauce
• 6 tablespoons water
• 2 cups white sugar
• 1 cup vinegar
• 2 tablespoons monosodium glutamate (MSG)
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Pour egg beat into a shallow dish or bowl; do the same with the flour. Heat oil and margarine in a large, deep skillet over medium high heat. Dip wings in egg, then flour, then fry until browned and crisp. Lay browned wings in an 11×14 inch baking dish.
3. To Make Sauce: In a small bowl combine the soy sauce, water, sugar, vinegar and MSG. Blend well and pour sauce over chicken.
4. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.

Slow Cooker Chicken Recipe

    1 whole chicken (about 3 1/2 lbs)
    1 teaspoon olive oil
    4 carrots, sliced
    2 stocks of celery, cut into about 1-inch pieces
    4 green onions, diced
    2 cloves crushed garlic,
    2 cups low fat low salt chicken broth
    1 cup dry white wine
    Salt and pepper to taste

Clean the chicken and remove the parts bag from inside; dry and then rub the chicken with salt and pepper. Using the oil brown the chicken on all sides in a large skillet. Move the chicken to the slow. Put the carrots, celery, and onions in the slow cooker around the chicken and season with salt and pepper. Add the rest of the ingredients. Cook covered on HIGH for 1 hour. Reduce temperature to LOW and cook for 5 to6 hours longer, until chicken is tender and juices run clear. Remove the chicken and keep warm. Transfer juices to a saucpan. Skim fat from juices and bring to a boil; boil until reduced to about 1 cup.
Serves 4.

Chicken Pot Pie Recipe

    1 egg
    1/2 cup milk
    1 cup cooked chicken
    1 cup Bisquick baking mix
    10 ounces frozen mixed vegetables
    1 potato, cooked & diced
    2 tbs magarin
    2 tbs flour
    2 cups low fat low salt chicken broth

In a med saucepan melt the margerin and add the flour .Cook over medium heat, about five minutes. Add the chicken broth and heat until mixture just begins to boil. Reduce heat; add chicken, potato and mixed vegetables until heated through. Put the mixture into a casserole dish. Mix the Bisquick, milk, and egg; pour over chicken mixture. Bake at 425 F. for 25 minutes or until golden.

Chocolate Banana Bake

    4 Ripe Bananas
    1/4 cup of white choclate chips
    1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Heat your oven up to 400 degrees.
Make a slice down one side of the banana and stuff it with a mixture of the white and semisweet chips.
Wrap them up tightly in alumanum foil and bake for 15 minutes.

Low Carb Cheese Cake

No diet will work if we feel deprived so we need to treat our selves every once and a while. When changing our eating habits we need to keep some normalcy. I’ve reworked some dessert recipes to a low carb, version. Making simple substitutes can have a major effect on the carb count of a recipe. So check this one out.

  • 1 and a half lbs cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 and 1/3 cups worth of artificial sweetener
  • Crust:

  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons of artificial sweetener
  • PREPARATION:
    Pre heat the oven to 375 F.

    1. Mix the ingredients for the crust, and press into the bottom of a baking pan. Bake the curst for 8-10 minutes, until it beginnings to brown.

    2. In a mixing bowl beat the cream sheese till its fluffy. Incorparate the other ingredients, fully incorporating each ingredient. When the rest of ingredients are mix in pour mixture into pan over crust.

    After putting the cheesecake in the oven turn the heat down to 200. Bake for 60-90 minutes. Start check it at about 1 hour after it was put in. The cheese cake is down when it is firm to touch but slightly soft near the middle.

    Place it in the refrigarator and Chill completely. Add the low sugar fruit of your choise
